Philanthropy
Ayana Arts was founded with a mission of connecting a passion for the arts with the New York City community.
That philosophy translates to everything from charity show performances to dance workshops.
We have worked with organizations such as the Special Olympics, American Indian Foundation, and South Asian Youth Action so far.
Black Lives Matter: NBAF Donation & Partnership
We are excited to announce that we raised over $2.3K in donations for National Black Arts, a non-profit committed to presenting and supporting art and artists of African descent, through our fundraising campaign and Ayana Arts match program.
We also created an Anti-Racism Resource Guide, facilitated over 70+ #BLM dialogues within the South Asian community, and ran a 1-month social media campaign resulting in over 4,000+ impressions to amplify Black artists' voices. In 2021, we aim to continue this engagement with the National Black Arts Festival and other non-profit organizations with sister missions to ours.
